As a Social Media Strategist, you should be able to attract and engage with targeted virtual communities and network users. You will provide assistance to develop and implement the social media strategies. You will also help in building the online presence and enhance our and clients advertising, marketing, and sales efforts. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms as well as act quickly and gracefully to resolve any customer complaints or criticisms posted on social media.
Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling
Excellent knowledge of social media paid campaigns on all platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, GMB, etc.
Excellent knowledge of setting up paid campaigns, targeting, optimization, creative requirements, copy writing and reporting on all social media platforms.
Create a thought leadership positioning for the brand using data and insights from out Research Papers.
Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications
Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)
Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging
Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles
Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar
Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year(s) of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
Experience using various analytics software.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including GMB, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO
Experience doing buyer persona and audience research
Familiarity with publishing and web design
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
